      Entrevista

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE UNprofessionals After finding an open position, and reading about the company; I felt this would be a great match. (they have a beautiful location and lots of great onsite amenities)Had an initial phone interview with a company contracted to help Ropella set-up their initial sales force. I then Interviewed in person with the client partnership development manager and met Patrick Ropella the owner. Patrick was extremely unprofessional, and asked the same question multiple times, including questions that are legally not allowed in an interview. To be honest I was taken aback as this is a company whose entire mission is recruiting executives for other companies. I chalked it up to him seeing if I could handle pressure, and decided that I'd continue through the pipeline. I got a follow-up email a week later asking for 3 prior managers reference information, and that then I would be taken to the next step. I immediately sent the info over. Stayed in regular contact, 3 more weeks go by than I get invited back for a second interview(Description said to "Meet the Team"). This time I met with Patrick Ropella, along with his wife Robbie Ropella, and 2 other gentlemen that managed another department. Without asking in advance if I'd even be interested; they decided that I should instead interview for their starting role in recruiting and surprised me with that during the interview as if they were doing me a favor. Robbie just like her dear husband Patrick is incapable of following a simple conversation, just like her husband she'd interject to ask the same question that was just asked and I had already answered; not once or twice, but Five separate times. On top of her blatant disregard for manners and showing the slightest interest in possible recruits, she also asked extremely unprofessional questions(Just like her husband) my favorite happened after I told them I had recently gotten married. She stared at my resume quizzically and then said: " Who would even marry you if you don't have a job?". Obviously, by this point, I had come to the conclusion that I was no longer interested in the role. They had already called my references, for a position that they had no intention of hiring me directly into. Out of my long career, this was without a doubt the sorriest, most unprofessional set of interviews and hiring process that I've ever experienced. It blows my mind that's what they do for a living.
