I was reached out to via email a few days after applying to the position. They requested a phone interview and I provided the time and date that worked best. I was then reached out to by another recruiter asking for the same information, that was the initial red flag of a disorganized company. I responded asking some questions to confirm I was prepared for the interview and no responses were received. The day and time of the interview approached (through Microsoft teams) and the recruiter was over 10 minutes late to the phone call. This was frustrating as it was during my work day that I had scheduled it. The recruiter proceeded to do all the talking. She cut me off multiple times after asking a question to put her input in. It felt very unprofessional and not like a screening/interview at all. I was the one listening to them talk about themselves the whole time. They were also unable to give me an accurate salary range. It finally ended and they proceeded to tell me I’d be called the following Monday (today) with next steps. I received an automated email saying they were moving on with someone else. That part doesn’t bother me, but wasting my time and talking about yourself the whole conversation does bother me. Blessing in disguise that things didn’t work out.

I phone screened with a recruiter, who went on to tell me how she had been trying to fill the role for months and they were very picky. It went well with her and I then did a virtual 1:1 with the hiring manager, a senior person in the organization. We spoke over an hour and it went really well. At the end he asked me if I was talking to anyone else like he was very interested and told me before we ended, I'd be coming on site which is another strong indicator.
I think I was the first person in months that came on-site. I came on site for 3 panel interviews and a plant tour. They all went pretty well and at the end the recruiter said I'd hear back by the next day or Friday (this was Wednesday). They were having a meeting Thursday to decide. It was the end of Friday and I still did not hear anything, so I called. She nonchalantly tells me they are not going to hire me like she forgot what she told me about following up. They also knew I came in from out of town and spent the day to come there. I can't give a good reason why they passed and 4 months later they are still reposting the job every week. It's not like it's such a great place to be so picky. The place was outdated and being run like crap. I was told the supervisor works virtually 3 days a week in a manufacturing plant, which is a total joke. If you're going to be that picky, don't waste someone's day. A truly incompetent organization.

There are usually 3 rounds to the interview, and for the 2nd one, they'll ask you to go to the Hillenbrand branch in Indiana to meet some of the people in person. Depending on your location, most of the interviews are through the phone not unless you're near Cincinnati.
