The interview consisted of a face to face with the hiring manager and then a second interview with the hiring manager's manager. The following week, I received an email asking me for references which I sent. A week later, I received an email with a link to a personality/math/verbal intelligence test. I completed it. After that, I did not hear back so I waited 2 weeks and then called. I received an email one week later saying that I was not selected. Two weeks later, I receive a call from the recruiter offering me the position. I asked if someone else had turned it down but all he would say is that they reconsidered. The process seemed very scattered and had little communication so I never really knew what the next steps were, if there were steps, etc. To get an offer out of the blue after being told that I was not selected was also very strange.
