Hiring manager contacted me via telephone to set up an interview. i interviewed in person for about 1 hour. hr followed up with 3 references for background check. there was delay in reaching all references. i was offered the position about a month after the interview. there was limited space for salary negotiation. once you are hired with rutgers, it is very unlikely to receive significant raises. as a result, you must push for a high salary up front.
