The interview process was brief, but information. I spoke with the hiring manager first. After, I was invited in for an interview where I met with the executive team. The final stage was meeting with the CEO for a brief, cultural interview. Overall, the interview was extremely informative, open, transparent, and exciting.

About a week after applying online, I received an automatic schedule request where I chose a time for the company to do a phone screen. The hiring manager missed the first phone call with no follow up, however did call at a random time one afternoon to schedule an in person interview. The in-office interview was pretty straight forward, and the company is moving which might explain the lack of design in the office. It looks very much like a startup inside. I spoke with the head of sales and someone in operations. Their questions were basic, but neither of them mentioned any kind of next steps. Weeks later after multiple inquiries, I received a no from the company. I would recommend that they tell applicants about the interview process and follow up with a timely response instead of the radio silence I received.

Really great. Relaxed. I felt totally comfortable talking to my interviewers. They asked me about my interests (as they were relevant to the job). They had me do a short editing test, which I completed at home and emailed back by the end of the interview day. I was contacted shortly after to be offered the job. I'm not sure how many more candidates were interviewed, but I got the feeling that I got the job right away.
