" Slow Process and Unresponsive Communication from Recruiter I applied for a part-time position at SAE and interviewed with two team members. The conversation was casual and focused almost entirely on my question about guarantee of hours—not my experience or qualifications. They made it seem like there would be enough work to guarantee 20 hours per week. The role itself was well within my capacity, but I wasn’t asked anything substantive about my background. Yet, they appeared to be interested. After the interview, I didn’t hear back for weeks. I had to follow up multiple times with their recruiter before receiving a brief message stating they were moving forward with other candidates, and encouraging me to keep applying on their website. Two months later, I found a newly published position that was a strong match and applied again. I notified the recruiter directly, but received no response. After more follow-ups via phone and email, I finally heard back—again with a generic rejection and no feedback, despite meeting all listed qualifications. In summary, the process was slow, communication was inconsistent, and the recruiter required multiple nudges to respond. The team did not come across as warm or engaged, and the lack of transparency made the experience frustrating. Not a good candidate experience and I would not recommend SAE."
