I'd like to compliment Ms. Parker who is the recruiter for this job. She initially contacted me and I have to say that her communication skills and drive are beyond the norm of talent recruiters that I have interacted with. She set up an interview with a territory manager in person. The interview was a bit awkward as I felt that our energy levels were a mismatch and it seemed like there was a lot of repetition just for the sake of talking. It was simply one of those moments when you meet a person who is not a personality match. I usually read people very well and can adapt my personality but this one was simply not for me to be able to figure out. I was not surprised to not get the position as I needed something that offered more hours and room for growth anyway. I did not get the impression that that would happen from the job description and interview.
