Process took close to two months. I had a call with a sourcer, then a recruiter, and finally the hiring manager. My call with the sourcer was great. He asked me about my experience. The call took about 15-20 mins. The call with the recruiter was awful. The guy immediately jumped into asking formal interview questions without introducing himself, the role role and team, nor did he allowed me to ask any questions at the end. There was no dialogue just question after question. The call too 30 minutes. The call with the hiring manager was standard. He explained the role, team, and asked a couple of questions. Overall, the candidate experience was bad. I had to wait weeks for answers. They didn’t make me feel welcomed and at the end I got contradictory feedback as to why I was rejected. They said I didn’t qualify for the time when throughout the entire process they kept saying how I had the perfect experience for it.

1- initial screening with HR: basic high-level questions 2- interview with Peer: resume run-through, technical questions albeit basic ones, some situational questions 3- interview with GM: situational questions (describe a time...), logistical questions (when can you start, salary,...) 4- interview with Hiring Manager: resume run-through, situational questions, strengths & weaknesses 5- interview with VP: situational questions, strengths & weaknesses everything went well until step 4. after the interview, was told directly that it was the last step of the interview and they will make an offer but cannot do so because the HR manager was on leave. they assured they will get back to me. after a couple of days, HR calls and sets up an interview with the VP, which was surprising. it was just a normal interview until I was asked for names of ppl i've worked with; apparently I was being background checked before the interview even began! we finished off well, i was given contact details for further questions and they said they would definitely be in contact soon. months passed without me hearing anything from any of them despite following up with HR. after a few months, they offer to interview me for a different position which i politely declined.
