Initial contact came via email only a week after submitting resume. Arranged an onsite interview for the following week. Interview consisted of several 1:1's discussing resume, background, interests, and goals for the future. I explained some of the projects that I had worked on throughout my undergraduate career. Also, some questions about controls engineering fundamentals to ensure that I was actually experienced.
