Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 2 meses. Fui entrevistado pela SEEN (US) (Johannesburg) em jul. de 2024
Entrevista
The first two rounds went well.
1st Round - Intro with the CEO (seemed like a nice person)
2nd Round - A more in depth interview with the CEO again, which went really well.
3rd Round - Submitted a story pitch.
Then there was silence after that. Trying to get feedback was a mission.
Then a random 4th round (with a lady in the UK) was added, where I was asked questions that they'd already asked in the the first two rounds, as well as a question that was answered in the 3rd round. This is when it became apparent to me that they had a serious HR issue, because the interviewer was surprised to find out that I had already interviewed so many times. The interview was less than ten minutes long. There was silence again. Getting clear feedback was difficult, and by this time 2 months had passed since the first interview. I sent the last feedback request and they asked for my salary expectation. That's when the CEO's tone changed. I'm guessing I was too expensive for him. Even though it was in writing, I felt that his tone was very rude and condescending. He told me I could try for a much lower tier job that was available, because I was inexperienced (a lie because I am more experienced that he is and he sort of acknowledged that in the 2nd interview). I decided not to take their insulting offer and walked away from what I had initially thought was a professional environment.
