We are sorry to hear about your experience interviewing with us. Most of our interviews start promptly however on rare occasions, the preceding meetings can take longer to wrap up. We always strive to give candidates as much notice as possible if a meeting is delayed.
Our technical interviews are always conducted by our senior tech leads who all have extensive experience recruiting for our team. We are surprised to hear that you had been informed that the reason for your rejection was inadequate backend experience. We evaluate our candidates for this position on a myriad of qualities and competencies, of which backend development skills are a bonus and not the deciding criterion. It is unfortunate that this miscommunication happened and we resolve to do better. We will continue to improve our interview processes and thank you for your time and feedback.
