O processo levou 3 dias. Fui entrevistado pela SLB (Midland, TX) em jan. de 2012
Entrevista
I have mixed feelings about this interview. It was 2-3 days and a group interview. They tried to make us as comfortable as possible so they paid for the hotel, food, flight, and what not. We had an assignment before getting there and had to present it to all the interviewees and HR people. They grilled everyone asking extremely technical questions (like we really understood that crap?!) I did not like the group interview aspect because I couldn't be myself. There were two annoying girls wearing all Schlumberger t-shirts and were such suck ups asking a million questions about all the company and telling everyone how much they wanted to work there. How can I compete with that? I mean, yes I wanted to work there, but not THAT bad. They also took us to dinner then went out drinking that night at the hotel bar. I was so tired I went to sleep. I had a feeling they were keeping tabs on who could "hang" by them not letting us sleep that much then wanting to go out to drink. Also, I'm a sorority girl who cheered in college. I have a feeling that they didn't like that about me. I liked that they took us to a facility to look at what they actually did there.
1st round interview included short technical question, and telling about myself and the projects I worked on.
Not difficult/or hard, but just need to explain well enough to tell the logic process
It was an on campus hiring. First they shortlisted based on CV. Then second round was group discussion where we were given abstract topics like "Half filled glass of water" and were asked to discuss. This was also an eliminatory round. The final round was more of a HR round, they asked behavioural questions, few puzzles (very easy) and general knowledge questions
