I had applied on their website for a position to which they responded and called me up. Interview was scheduled the next day I reached an hour early but the process started an hour late. They 1st told me that they will take a written test and soon I was informed that there is no test but some other essay writting kind of stuff. Then my interview was scheduled. Candidate who went before me negotiated the CTC (they were offering 4lac for an MBA grad from a reputed college) following which the candidate rejected the offer. Next was my interview being they didn't ask me a single question only said that we have 4 lacs to give I asked for the break up of the CTC and they ended the discussion there itself saying they are not willing to take any interview. Such a unprofessional behaviour from managers and HR. They want MBA grads that too from good colleges and don't want to pay. Kindly ask CTC before going for the interview because that is their only selection criteria.

It can be both telephonic or face to face depending on your location. It can be an average to difficult interview, which again depends. But yes one cannot get away with it without a good preparation unless offcourse your luck is favourable.
