Interview timing arranged and secured. Days later, contacted back that interview cancel due to Last Minute Internal Transfer. Fair enough, to give internal employees more priority for the Role. Weeks later, enquired on outcome to follow up. Reply wasn't immediate. Had to send chaser 2 days later. Finally, the HRBP notifies the Recruitment has concluded and Internal Staff have taken the empty Place. Subsequently turns cold, dismissive and brief with replies, asks me to stop asking irrelevant questions. Continued to give BOD since the role has already been filled. Was put off to continue further contact/messaging with this BP. Now, July 2024, random/casual browse on LinkedIn found me an External Candidate, fresh from University, making Career Update that he has commenced Employment in this exact role I applied for in April. Shocked by the coincidence. I was passed over for someone External after all? Very disappointed with how I was treated considering my past Intern experiences inside the Operator."
