Weird experience. Went through the first two interviews and the case study discussion with them, then they disappeared. I chase up one week later and nothing happened. After 2 weeks they came back to me saying the HR person I was in contact wasn't in the team anymore and that they decided to focus on another candidate, more junior, but they never mentioned it during the process. I also never received proper feedback on the case study. I felt this very unprofessional. I had to ask for a more specific feedback which was like "we are looking for someone more junior, if we'll have a growth lead position open the fit would be great." But it's not the role I would like to be. If someone doesn't want to hire me, that's fine, plenty more opportunities out there. But I was hoping for a little bit of professional courtesy after investing a lot of time in such a lengthy application process. It seems very chaotic and they didn't show they knew the kind of skills they wanted for the team.

The interview process was incredbly quick. I was surprised by the technical explanation of the product value shared during the initial call, it gave me the impression that this project is truly engeering. I decided to withdraw from the interview process because the position is not close to my career goals. Best of luck in finding a qualified candidate for this great opportunity!
