Thanks for your review, our second round interview is set up to allow the candidates to meet some of our team and shadow one of our trainers because this gives them an insight into the daily tasks of the role and how our firm operates. We are certain this interview will have given you all of this information.
In regards to the exercises you were asked to complete, we believe that engaging in problem-solving tasks, is an effective way to test the candidates' abilities to use their problem-solving techniques and ability to think on their feet. Many companies use this technique in the interview process.
We cannot speak for any other companies, we can only speak for ourselves, but yes we do co-share an office with companies in the same industry, and that is a conscious choice. One which is becoming more prevalent in business. It makes a lot of sense for us to work in an environment where we can share information and ideas related to our industry with our partners or colleagues in the industry.
