HR representative called up after about a month and went into a full-scale interview straight on. Odd approach as well as very unprofessional. An hour after that another HR representative called and asked if I could come for a formal interview the following day... When declining (due to practical reasons), another week passed before another interview was set up in Linköping, Sweden ( the role was not with placement there). Met with a vice president, HR, and one Project Manager. Fairly standard interview, but again with bits of unprofessionalism that one would not expect. Before leaving they explained bits of the process to follow and promised to get back very quickly - within a week or two at the latest. They contacted me the following day, asking for references. After two weeks I contacted the HR-rep regarding the pre-agreed expense reimbursement. No word about the job even though my references had been contacted. Expenses paid after about another week - yet only one of several receipts, and not the full cost of the trip! Another month passed without feedback. When I finally contacted them they claimed to have "forgotten to contact me"... Bear in mind that this was an interview for a skilled role that required a cross-European trip and took a full day. Overall a terribly amateurish experience, which did not leave me with a very positive view of the company. Unfortunately, from past experiences with other Swedish companies, it appears that actively avoiding to get back to applicants (even if they have met you in person) is a very odd Swedish custom.

It was three step interview with a helpful Human resource employee. Every step was clear and concise I was never confused at any point on where my application was. I would say in total a average interview process.
