Applied through Linkedin for multiple openings. Had a discussion with the recruiter about one of the openings, and it didnt go through due to the compensation expectation mismatch. 5 weeks later, I get contacted again to meet the hiring manager for another position. The recruiter clarifies that they have more budget now, and it meets my expectation.
The discussion with the Hiring manager was the most pathetic one I had in my career so far. She expected me to have the video on, but she didn't turn it on herself - disrespectful. The style of questioning was grilling on minute details on a problem - tells a lot about her interviewing skills, and the culture at Sabre. Instead of feeling welcomed, I felt humiliated. Instead of seeing through my point, she wanted to convey that I know nothing as I am not saying what she wants to hear.
After the interview, I wrote to the recruiter that I withdraw from the process. No point in wasting any time at Sabre (If there were any next steps for me at all).
