Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). O processo levou 4 dias. Fui entrevistado pela Sagiss (Irving, TX) em set. de 2024
Entrevista
The interview process at Saggis was highly technical, which reflected their commitment to finding candidates with strong problem-solving skills and in-depth knowledge of the field. The process consisted of multiple stages, including coding challenges, system design discussions, and a deep dive into specific technical concepts relevant to the role. The interviewers were well-prepared and asked thoughtful, detailed questions that tested both theoretical understanding and practical application.
Though I didn't ultimately get the job, the experience was valuable. It highlighted areas where I can improve, especially in explaining my thought process more clearly during technical problem-solving. The interviewers provided feedback that was insightful and constructive.

I got a screening call from the company they use for their HR services. They are a smaller company, so they do not have an in house HR associate. They were basic questions about my background and experience. She then set up a date for me to actually interview with members of the company. The interview was a bit condescending. It was an interview with two people, however, they said usually there is another person. They hardly actually asked me about my resume and experience. Instead, they gave me riddles to solve and asked me personal questions about my life. I tried to steel it back towards professionalism. They said they'd give me a call in a few days telling me whether or not I got the job. I sent a thank you letter to all parties after the interviews. A couple of weeks later I got a call from their outsourced HR rep who told me I had not gotten the job and they were looking for someone with more IT experience. The job posting, however, did not include that you had to have an ample amount of IT experience. Most of the job requirements were based on basic computer usage and Microsoft Office, which I had years in experience with. It was like a glorified receptionist job. I guess they preferred to hire someone of military background for a tax credit. Not sure how that translates to IT experience.

I was relayed through an intermediary who contacted me on their behalf, and once I showed interest the process went very quickly. I said, "Let's do it" and he gave the thumbs up to Sagiss and they contacted me within a couple of days. I setup the interview for the following week and everything was a go and the hiring manager answered all my question. The day off was a fairly easy in and out process and since it was an intern program the two gentlemen that were there to interview me where professional and laid back. I actually enjoyed it, and they covered everything I wanted to know and it was all done after about an hour.
