They called me about a week after submitting an online application and set up an interview. When I arrived the hiring manager met me in the cafe area and basically just had me sign a bunch of paperwork. I get the impression that they were ready to offer me the job before I even arrived as she only asked two interview questions and they were extremely easy. Immediately after this I was offered a job.

I applied online and even called the store. Didnt hear back from Sams for a little over a month and just assumed I did not have the job. They later called and asked for an interview to which I went. I sat for half an hour to see Manager A. When they did not show up, the team lead for cashiers did my interview, but had the attitude that she could care less if I were hired or not. She didnt care about my portfolio, naturally, because it is for the bakery and has nothing to do with her. She then left and said she would go get Manager B. Manager C shows up 45 minutes later, just to say "Hi my name is suchandsuch, Im sure Manager A told you all about me." When told Manager A and B both did not Show, C then too left. Finally as I was seen, I was Thanked for accepting the Cake Decorator Position, Which not only did I not apply for, But I had no experience in it. I was constantly coached about my speed at decorating, even though I was told it was a learning process since I had NO EXPERIENCE. The whole process was the most Drawn out, Unprofessional, Stragest by far interview Ive Ever experienced.
