2 months after applying for the position online, I was called in for an interview which was during their high season of hires for summer positions. Originally the interview was 1-on-1 but before I was called in, I was informed that it was a panel interview with four supervisors. The interview was in an office designed for one, so flexibility and the ability to keep literally cool was critical. During the interview, I was advised that I would be extended an offer and to plan on beginning work in the next month. Since this was a municipal position, I had to go through a regular physical, drug testing, back ground screening and finger print identification. All of which took another two months to process.
