It was straightforward and an overall good experience with the first interview being conducted over the phone. They asked plenty of questions about experience and interests. They reached out within a week regarding a decision.

First interview is a 30 minute phone call. Most of the questions in the phone call were directly related to my work and school experience. Be prepared to answer how your specific experiences have translated into strong skills. The phone interview felt a little more casual than an in-person interview. It is just a chance for the interviewer to hear your work and education experience from your own mouth rather than your resume or cover letter. Expect to hear one or two questions about your interest in the company/role.
