Candidatei-me por meio de recrutador(a). O processo levou 3 meses. Fui entrevistado pela Sandia National Laboratories em nov. de 2014
Entrevista
Hiring process was a little slow. I was told that they were desperately seeking someone to fill a hole, but then they had a lot of hoops to jump through to get someone. That being said, I understood their predicament. While Sandia is not a government agency, it is a federally funded national lab and the employees are sort of like federal employees in the DOE and have to go through lots of background checks and security clearances. They even needed transcripts from college and grad school even though I've been working as a project manager for years.
Process was like any other place. Phone screening with recruiter/HR. Telephone interview with hiring manager. Then group interview with the team. I had questions that were behavioral in nature, so setting up the answer in the form of STAR helped a lot.
All in all, everyone was nice. HR recruiters walked me through the benefits packages, and I got to talk to people in the labs, see the campus, and check out the city too.

How do you handle difficult and unreasonable expectations from customers?

Virtual interview. The application wasn't very burdensome. There was significant lag time between application and getting scheduled for an interview, but interview itself was good. I heard back within a couple of weeks.

What experience do you have negotiating federal contracts?
Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 3 meses. Fiz uma entrevista na empresa Sandia National Laboratories (New York, NY).
Entrevista
Very binary and unfriendly. I could tell she was reading her questions from a script. The questiona were strictly about Project Management processes (EVM, critical path, etc.).
I was told that a follow on interview will be scheduled in the next 2 week's. When I received nothing, I called the interviewer at the 2 week mark. She couldn't tell me anything. I called again 1 week later...nothing. 3 weeks later, she finally tells me that I wasn't selected for a follow on interview.
Since then, many people have shared my experience or said that working there is very process oriented (leave your creativity at the door).

A team member called up and immediately launched into the phone screen. This was followed up a couple weeks later by an interview with the hiring manager and the HR rep. A month later I was called in to present a one hour presentation on a topic of my choosing. About 20 people were in the room. The remainder of the day was one on one interviews with several of the people in the room.
After that, it took several months for them to extend an offer as the position (budget? job description?) was off again - on again.

I don't remember the specific questions. They focus on behavioral questions - "Tell me about a time when ......"
