Entrevista
The team was friendly and approachable—relatively young but with some industry experience. It felt less like a traditional interview and more like a chance for them to gather external insight on a live technical issue (for free!). That said, asking candidates to tackle current problems is a practical way to evaluate their capabilities. The product itself is straightforward, with the complexity lying in the robustness and sensitivity of the biosensor. One of their challenges is designing rigs to help the scientists with their work on understanding the products sensitivity. Microneedles aren’t new, but it’ll be interesting to see if they can successfully commercialize the technology.
Design of a fluid-handling test rig for biosensor evaluation. Dose some concentrated analyte into a bath with the biosensor. Vary this concentration, controlling it to a spec.

The interview process consisted of an online live interview with an opportunity to ask questions. This was followed by an in-person tour of the office and introduction to members of the teams across the company.
