Applied through college or university. The recruiter contacted me and scheduled a technical phone interview the next day. I cleared the phone interview and they said they will contact me for an on-site interview. Every week I received a call from the recruiter updating me about my application. They told they are going to send me an assignment which i need to complete before a deadline. I do not understand what happen, but suddenly they called me and told they decided to pursue other candidates. They took five weeks to decide this. Not really a fair interview process is what I feel (at least in my case). But ultimately, it is just business and nothing personal.

Initial video screen call. They were impressed with my experience so they fast tracked me into the next video call with a manager. Same again. Very impressed, Very lovely people to talk with. I was then fast tracked to video call their Software Architect. He was very cold from the start, and I felt he took issue with my previous job title that was higher than his own. I was asked to explain my experience, and then was asked some unexpected questions. The types of questions that you Google when you need them, and don't commit to memory. I was then rejected with a generic, "not experienced" enough email. - Funny because the job description said they wanted someone that had room to grow and learn! (not a senior position) - I asked for further clarification on which part I failed on, but received no response.
