First was a recruiter call. She was very nice. Then interview with hiring manager that I would be directly working with. It went well. Next was a 2 hour long technical (Coderbyte). I thought it went ok. Next was a 2-interview process: systems design and another technical. It was scheduled at the same time and took place on a day and then the day after. I did the technical with an engineer. There was a bug with the API that they didn't know about that we caught during my interview. Although I did not get the full amount of time because of a bug that was not my fault, I actually thought it went ok because I completed the task. I studied tons for the system design interview. Hours and hours. Then the day comes and the person who was interviewing me was "sick." So I said no worries, we can reschedule for another day. I contacted recruiter and said to let me know when would be a good time to continue. A week passes by, I email the recruiter again trying to schedule the last one. No reply. So... got ghosted while I was deep into an interview process. Pretty disappointed because I put a lot of effort into this multi-round interview loop.
