Interview process started with HR screening and then an interview in office. I met with 5 different people over the span of a few hours. Overall it was a little chaotic, as they kept roping in different people, and it wasn't clearly laid out who'd I'd meet with upon the setup of the interview. The office was also quite empty (pre COVID)

Entrevista
Interview process kicked off with applying on LinkedIn with HR in Ireland, followed by two rounds of on site with the Regional Director and Global VP flown in from US.
I wouldn't recommend interviewing/working for Search Optics based on the following reasons:
1. Turnover was high over the 8 week interview process I had with them. They went through two Regional Directors over the span and HR had abruptly told me the first one got fired, and pretty much held off the process until they had the third one on board.
2. Process was slow and lacked transparency/feedback. I ended up taking another offer since they kept dragging on.
3. Condescending attitude from HR/Directors thinking they own the best product in the world. I come from an Enterprise SaaS background and found this a bit laughable.
4. TC was on the low side and expectations were unrealistic for a developed market and how the new/used automotive business looks like in this part of the world
5. Sales/operations processes were antiquated. Don't expect they would operate like a tech company as they portray to be.

What can you say about a company who schedules a phone interview with you but doesn't call or follow up with an explanation. Very unprofessional!!! And to think I was applying for an HR position. If they changed their mind, I would expect at least a note of apology.
