Horrible interview process. Interviewer (SEO team member) was unprepared with questions for me relating to my experience, and just wanted to know if I would start immediately - like, the NEXT day. I felt uncomfortable and rushed, and to top it off I was not able to ask any of my own questions about the company and what was to be expected of me. SearchLab should certainly set aside some time to invest in their internal processes...

The interview process was relatively straight forward. Had an HR representative from the company speak to me over the phone about my experience and credentials. She immediately scheduled an interview with the CEO of the company. After being rescheduled several times, I was able to finally speak to the CEO of the company two weeks later. Had a discussion about my work experience and company culture. Then, was able to speak with the hiring manager for the SEO position that same day - where he asked me some questions about my experience performing SEO for past clients. About 3 weeks later, I received an offer letter from the hiring manager for the position. I spoke on the phone with them and they wouldn't answer questions about their exact 401(k) match and retirement. Seemed to try to dance around the question and rush me into signing the offer letter. The hiring manager also informed me that I would be expected to regularly work beyond 40 hours a week without overtime pay. I just get the impression that this is a very shady company with shady business practices. Their employees seem very overworked. I would only accept a position with this company if you are entry level in digital marketing and just looking to get some initial experience and get out.
