Thank you for the candid feedback! All of our take-home projects are created by our engineering teams and customized based on the roles in ways that are (ideally) meant to be fun to work on and more generally representative of the types of consulting problems we might face, but we have not (and never would) create something based on real problems or customer projects. That said, the requirements for our projects are also intended to mimic real-world solutions, like requesting in-stock components (making sure people aren't using obsolete or outdated designs), but we realize how this could be interpreted differently. Overall, we really do appreciate the feedback and will continue revising our take-home projects to make them more enjoyable and engaging for everyone :).
