Received a phone call from the employer to schedule an in-person interview at their corporate office. The interview was not difficult; I was asked typical questions about my professional background, experience, character/personality, etc. The responsibilities and details of the position were gone over as well. Salary and benefits were briefly discussed. I also had an opportunity to ask as many questions as needed about the position, company, etc. The interview started 10 minutes late but the interviewer was polite and welcoming.
The only negative part of my interview experience with this company was that I was told by the interviewer that I would hear some kind of response from them within 2 business days. After 1 week of not hearing from them, I sent a follow-up email and left a voicemail, but that was not responded to either. After waiting 1 more week, I called one final time and at that point was informed that the position had been filled by another candidate.
