The interview process was unnecessarily long, disorganized, and ultimately a complete waste of time. What could have been handled efficiently was stretched across multiple rounds with repetitive questions and shifting expectations.
Candidates were asked to invest significant time and energy — including scheduling disruptions and preparation — without any clear direction or respect for that commitment. By the end, it became evident that the organization either did not know what it was looking for or was not aligned internally.
I would strongly recommend that future candidates carefully consider the time investment required. A professional, well-run company values efficiency and candidate experience — unfortunately, that was not demonstrated here.

There is a very extensive, multifaceted interview process, during which time the hiring managers really get to know the candidate. This process is designed to benefit both the company, as well as the candidate, by openly and transparently discussing all main aspects of the position - the type of work, the level of detail required, the level of customer service expected, the scheduling including a realistic look at the hours and days required, the distance of commute, and aptitude assessment, etc.
I can honestly say that I experienced this during my own interview process, and I have since had the opportunity to participate in multiple interviews with each of the hiring managers. There are many different types of roles at Sedgewick Homes, and positions that require vastly different skill sets from the others, but there is consistency in the process and in the genuine desire for there to be a mutual fit between the company and the candidate that is being considered.
