After 30 mins one on one Teams call with HR I was told if they decide to continue they will send me a coding assignment I should complete in 2 days. They did move to round 2 where I got the challenge info. It was a small app to be written in newest Angular. I had to pull initialized project's source code (default Angular CLI project) from some remote repository. It was in Angular 16 but since they said they want project to be done in latest Angular, first thing I did was to upgrade it to at the time latest version (21). With all of the testing, polishing and after creating dozens of unit tests, handling responsiveness it took me 1 whole day (12 hours with 2-3 breaks) to complete the challenge. I was confident that end project had great quality and as someone who has over a decade of experience in industry and 10+ projects I can tell you that what I delievered is not what you usually have in real time projects (I am confident quality of my work was and is way above the average). Anyways, I got the response few days later that they won't continue with my application with no further explanations which is sad since they said that after I would complete the challenge I would have a discussion with some of the technical people from Sedona and with someone from end client side. I am not sure they even looked at it at this point. Luckily for me I submitted the solution first day and I was tempted to beautify it with more CSS the next day. Thank God I was wise enough to not waste time. I am giving a bad rating because of lack of information after I've spent a whole day working on coding challenge they were supposed to give a feedback on.

I was assigned a home task project to display a list of images. The applicatin had to load 3 more images when the user reaches the bottom of the page and also implement a favourite image page where you can add and remove certain images.
