Brief review on academic backgrounds, and The seem to be wanting me to work as a graduate schooler in his lab. Also offered department administrative officer for full time basis. Full timer’s benefits were same as other irregular contract jobs in office jobs at the college.

The interview process was informal and conversational. Since I had prior academic interaction with the principal investigator, the discussion focused on my research interests, academic background, and alignment with the lab's ongoing research rather than technical questions.
