Was emailed to schedule an appointment to interview. Came in, the manager hiring was very kind, however describe that he was picky in his selection because this is a new store opening. I was not even asked anything about make up or my experience, it was all general questions like “why do you want to work here? ““ describe a time you went above and beyond for someone else “etc. I felt that the interview went great but I did not end up getting hired. I just got a declination in my email at 1:30 in the morning. Honestly, the pay is not good ($13.00/hr) and they’re not opening for a month and a half.

Pretty standard interview. A lot of the questions emphasized selling to the customer so focus on that. If they ask what your favourite product is, don’t just say what it is. Try to sell it to the interviewer.

Entrevista
10 minute call over the phone, asked maybe around 10 ish common interview questions. Relatively easiy interview process and then they ask about availability, right to work, etc. at the end.
During the group interview process, all participants were asked the same set of structured questions. These included questions about industry knowledge, customer service skills, and several realistic scenario-based problem-solving situations.
