Applied at an SCI firm because SCI funeral directors are not required to make removals I struggle with physical lifting. Heard about an opening from other colleages in the business. Called the manager of funeral home, he set up interview. He called to offer me the job, I came in, signed a conditional offer letter, filled out paper work went for drug test and waited for background check results. Never got a phone call, I called him- he said I should have recieved a letter. Something in my background would not allow them to hire me. He wouldn't tell me what it was- said he didn't know. He said he would see that another letter was sent to me. So far have not recieved anything, and manager cannot be reached.
