      Fiz uma entrevista na empresa ServiceNow.

      I had applied to Staff position. Interviews went well, new recruiter (let’s call her Recruiter 2, initial recruiter who contacted me and scheduled the interviews was different, lets call him Recruiter 1) reached out the same day with positive feedback but she said we are giving Senior Software position. I asked the reasoning but she was vague in her answers. For next 1 hour she was trying to get my current TC, I gracefully ignored and asked for the initial offer. She said will get back to me. Next day Recruiter 1 contacts me and spends almost 2 hours trying to get my current TC, I didn’t budge. He ssks me to schedule a call with Recruiter 1. In the call, she starts giving me wide ranges for base, RSUs, bonus etc, another 45 minutes gone. I asked her to come up with an initial offer and let me know. For 1 week no response, upon following up to her, she didn't bother to respond to email or phone. I called Recruiter 1 to understand what's happening. He says that the feedback that he sees from my call with Recruiter 1 is that she has mentioned your expectations are too high and you are just using the offer to negotiate with other companies. I tell him that’s not what had happened. He says I’ll hook you up with new recruiter and you can talk to him/ her. After 2 hours, the Recruiter 1 calls and says she was busy with other things and couldn't get back. She starts low balling the numbers she herself had promised a week back. That was the end. This is by far the worst recruiter experience in my entire career so far.

      The process was straightforward: phone screen, meeting with the hiring manager, three more interviews with team members and department head involving technical and behavioral questions. However, at the end of it all, even though they said they wanted to proceed to hire me, they stated they did not (yet) have a budget/headcount available for the position and wouldn't be able to make an offer until next quarter IF they get the budget... so why were they interviewing for the position now in the first place? Frustrating to have spent all that time interviewing only to learn this AFTER the whole process.

      2 technical interviews, 2 coding questions for each one and 1 system design questions, one coding question was NP hard. and recruiter was about to move to final interview and then rejected saying that new requirements showing up so cannot move, I was like: ??? I mean I have seen similar stories here on Glassdoor about this similar situation, so I am not surprised, but can you find an even lamer excuse? Made my whole day, toxic people

      Interview had 4 rounds over 1 week. Includes hands on coding and design questions. Master round is the most challenging, question is asked to judge approach towards unsolvable questions. A lot of focus is on system design and database design.
