      recruiter reached out for brief phone interview, then phone interview with hiring manager. This was probably the worst and most unprofessional job interview I had. The recruiter during my interview berated me for my resume being two pages and said I should save it as another name before because I had saved the file as "project manager" and she had wanted me to save it as "customersuccessmanager." I found that weird and she told me to send it to her again so I did. After I sent her the updated resume, she again berated me and said I should spend more time on it, so I sent it to her again. We had scheduled the phone interview with the hiring manager a couple days later, but an hour before the interview, another recruiter, not the one I had interviewed with, had called me and interviewed me and said she needed to reschedule my interview because the hiring manager was already booked for that time. I thought that was weird because we had set that time a few days before and the recruiter then had said that time was free and was the earliest time. We reschedule the appointment for the next day, and a few hours later, this recruiter had contacted me again saying to reschedule for later that day. Finally had the phone interview with the hiring manager who had said I was a good fit and that he'd love for me to join. The next day, I got the rejection email. The whole process was extremely unprofessional and reflects badly on the company. I wouldn't want to work at a company that is so disorganized and doesn't value my time.

      Interviewed for CSM, had my first recruiter screen and was ghosted. Very disappointing, at the very least companies can send an automated or templated rejection email as a professional courtesy and basic respect for candidates. I sent a follow up email after I never heard back and never got a response. The interview asked basic CS questions - how many accounts have you managed, tell about an escalation and churn risk you handled etc. The recruiter spoke extremely fast and was very rushed, you could tell she was just listening for specific keywords, not looking to understand me as a candidate or what I would bring to the team. She didn't leave much room for questions at the end, and ended the 30 min interview after 20 mins saying her laptop was going to die, it was very obvious she just wanted to finish early. Not a positive candidate experience at all.

      I recently participated in two separate interview processes for a Customer Success role at ServiceTitan over the course of nearly two months. The process included multiple recruiter conversations, interviews with hiring managers and leadership, a panel interview, and a presentation. Everyone I met throughout the experience was professional, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about the company. My primary concern was the communication and timeline management throughout the hiring process. On multiple occasions, I was informed that decisions were being delayed until all candidates had completed their interviews. As a result, there were several extended periods without proactive updates, and I often had to initiate follow-up conversations to understand where things stood. While I respect the company’s decision, the final feedback I received did not seem fully aligned with the examples and presentation topics discussed throughout the interview process, which left me with limited insight into how I could improve moving forward. Overall, I had positive interactions with the people involved and remain impressed by the team. However, I believe there is an opportunity to improve candidate communication, provide clearer expectations around timelines, and offer more actionable feedback after such an extensive interview process.

      Got referred. They sent me an email to schedule a call. Interviewer also said we’re looking for top talent. Well duh. She was late to the meeting. I had to email her to remind her and it appeared like she didn’t even review my application prior to our phone call. lindsay joseph
