I tried interviewing internally and was told to do a recorded video screening when the recruiter could have made an effort to have a conversation as we both work for the same company. Had a few rounds of interviews and the communication was not great. I was even asked about requirements that were not listed on the job description. Shows that communication is not a priority here. I also found out the role was filled via an email to the department welcoming the new person before being told it was filled. It could have been handled better all things considered.
