Yet another corporation that doesn't respect your time. Applied to a specific location online at their website (create an account, upload stuff, input stuff, diversity questions, etc.). Turns out, of all the info I gave them, they only cared about my email address so they could put me on some automated list. 3 weeks later I get an email "inviting" me to show up to an open interview session two days later (no alternatives if the times don't fit in your schedule); clearly indicating that not a single person looked at my resume, not a single person at the location will even have any idea whether or not I'm even potentially qualified. Not only was filling out the online application a waste, but now I have to start from scratch again and still compete with everyone (and every job board) they decided to inform of the open interview. The scheduled time was inconvenient, but I still went. I still played the role. Just as expected, gave all the same information that I submitted online. Obviously, since they are not going to study your resumé while you are in their presence, the first thing said was the classic, "tell me about yourself". The interview lasted about 20 minutes. Whole Foods likes to pull this same BS as well.
