I was first approached and interviewed by AppleOne staffing, Wanda was awesome. I spoke with her several times and then had a zoom interview. Shortly after I was contacted for a second interview with the regional manager. They ended up going with a different candidate for that community with more experience in low income and senior properties. About a month later I was contacted by Wanda again who was excited to share a new opportunity with Shapell with another regional. I shortly after had 3 back to back interviews with Shapell's leadership and was hired. Couldn't be happier!

This company is a joke. I had some third party company reach out to me asking if I would be interested in this position. I did a phone interview with the staffing company first which I thought was a little strange. The staffing company and I emailed and talked on the phone back and forth for about two weeks. She sent over a detailed job description as well as pay rate + benefits included. (Staffing company was offering a lot higher pay rate compared to most) I found that a little suspicious. After three weeks of back and forth phone tag I am asked to go to the property for an interview by the staffing company. The interview went well they then tell me that they will get back to me. I send a follow-up email and don`t hear back from them until two weeks later. The staffing company once again asks me to come in for what is now the 4th interview by this time I was pretty much convinced that I had landed the job. The staffing company then calls me that same day after the interview and tells me that they are ready to make an offer. A day after the offer was made the staffing company calls me to inform me that they no longer are interested. I asked her what the reasoning was and she said some short remark as to they no longer need someone. (but yet the listing for the position has been active for over 2 months) If you do not like having your time wasted I advise you to stay away from Shapell properties. They will NEVER DIRECTLY CONTACT YOU! The staffing company that they are working with will do all the dirty work for them. They act all nice and sweet to your face but behind your back, they speak poorly of you to the staffing company. DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THEY TELL YOU! THIS COMPANY IS BOGUS!!
