First there is an online application process. It helps if you know someone since referrals are given an automatic interview. After the application process, you get a phone interview by the local hiring manager. From there, they schedule an interview with the store manager and then the city manager. In some cases, you may be introduced to the district manager since they share the same office, but that depends. It takes about 6 weeks for all this to take place, so be patient.

I was an internal applicant who transferred from the store level and interviewed for the management positions. First was the phone interview with HR to tell if you were a good candidate. Standard get to know you questions, information about your background and some customer service based questions. 2nd interview was with the City manager, this interview was more in-depth with my experiences in the store level and what I hope to learn with my time here at SW. Last interview was with the District Manager, this was a shorter get to know you interview with less technical questions and more of a formality.
