      Entrevista

      First I had a phone interview, then I had to submit a typing speed test and a short writing sample online, then finally I had an on-site interview, which was pretty friendly and generally consisted of behavioral questions. They also gave a quick tour of the office and talked to me a bit about what it would be like to work at ShipStation.

      Entrevista

      This was my third interview with ShipStation over an 8 year time period and every single time it has be AWFUL. They lead you on like they are excited to work with you and then bail all communications. They would be LUCKY to have someone of my experience but choose to go with younger and less experienced people. Customer Service is NOT what they care about.

      Entrevista

      I applied online and was contacted by a manager about a week later with preliminary questions like, "Describe in detail how to make a PB&J sandwich," and was asked to take a typing test. They wanted to set up a phone interview the following week where I spoke with a team lead about my background, why I was interested in the role, etc. We had a very pleasant conversation that went well and we set up a zoom interview for the following week with some of her colleagues where I was asked mostly behavioral questions. I was assured that I would hear back within a couple of days regardless if they wanted to move forward or not. After three follow up emails over the course of almost a month asking for the status of my application/interview and no response, I was completely ghosted. It is extremely disheartening and sad that this has become such a common practice amongst employers. A simple "we've decided to move forward with other candidates" email would have been sufficient but it seems that was too much to ask for.

      Entrevista

      ShipStation moves quickly! I applied online where there was a typing test and a process/instruction writing sample. I heard back within a week. Following a brief, initial phone interview, I was invited in for a panel interview. Most of the questions were behavioral, and related to customer service experience, problem solving, and applicable skills. All panel members (and staff in general!) were highly professional and very friendly. They listened attentively and answered all of my questions. Regarding the facilities, the work space looks new, clean, and comfortable, but really I saw only the reception area and a conference room.
