The interview process started well. Initially, I had a phone screening with the recruiter, who was friendly, easy to talk to, and provided all the necessary information. The next step was a conversation with the hiring manager, which was equally pleasant. It was a relaxed and candid discussion, and he mentioned at the end that he would arrange the next round of interviews, which would be technical. He assured me he would inform the recruiter to set it up.
I sent a thank you note to the hiring manager the following day. After a few days without any response from the recruiter, I reached out to provide my availability for the following week, hoping to expedite the process. Unfortunately, I received no reply. Almost two weeks passed without any communication. At this point, I wasn't optimistic about moving forward, but I still wanted a response. I emailed again, providing my availability and requesting an update. They finally replied, informing me they had moved forward with another candidate.
While Shipt seems like a great company to work for, my experience with their interview process was disappointing.
