I was told id be contacted back after 3 days to be informed if they were moving forward with me. It's been almost two week and nothing. It's polite to respect people's time even if you've decided not to hire. I somewhat saw this coming based on other individuals reviews. I think there need to be some changes within the HR department to resolve this persistent issue.

Unfortunately a recruiter based out of the Netherlands was very disrespectful. When I shared about wanting to explore the opportunity and see if there is a fit with the team, the recruiter responded with "with regards to fit, that is our job to decide not yours." That was a very unnecessary comment. It goes without saying that the decision to move forward with a candidate lies with the company, but an interview is also a two-way conversation for a candidate to also learn about the company and role. When it was time for me to ask questions, I asked if the hiring manager was looking out for a specific type of candidate so I could understand what kind of person would succeed in the team. The response: "Everything is written in the job description." The point of letting candidates ask questions is to learn more about the role beyond the job description, no? The lack of basic respect left such a bad impression, please do better.
