I made it to the final round (presentation) and was completely ghosted by the recruiter. I even emailed to them to follow up and zero response. The interview experience with Shopify was a complete waste of my time. I spent 40 + hours on the final presentation and demo to not even receive a response. I would never consider Shopify as a top tier employer after this. Also, their pay is way below industry average and they don't even disclose Salary information until the end of the entire process. There are much better companies out there, so don't waste your time with Shopify.

It was a straightforward and well-organized process. It started with a Recruiter Screening, followed by a detailed Life Story Interview, a Hiring Manager 1:1, and a final Case Study/Demo. Communication was clear and consistent throughout.

The interview went smoothly and was fairly standard, there was nothing particularly unexpected or unusual about it. After giving it some thought, I chose not to move forward with the opportunity, so I’m not familiar with the subsequent steps in the interview process beyond the initial round.
