Weird. For a specialized job, I was tested using front-end software engineering questions. I would equate this to testing a UX/UI Researcher using backend engineering questions. Because they were "interviewing blind", so not interviewing for a specific job but interviewing for fit I was never asked any questions relevant to my experience or the positions I applied for. "Interviewing blind" works fine when looking for a culture fit but if you are live coding to see their skills then you should look over their resume/LinkedIn and ask relevant questions.
