Applied on line. Received a phone call from the pharmacist/owner within a week. Went in for the interview. Met the owner and went to the consultation room. She asked a bit about my back ground and was not familiar with my current position, thought I worked in head office and how would I adapt to working on the floor. She was not prepared. After being asked for references none of my references were called and I was never called back. Very unprofessional. Not impressed with the interview process here. Be prepared for the candidate.

I showed up late by accident (went to the wrong store as I applied to two and both stores had a manager by the same name) and still landed the job. They are really just looking for someone who is agreeable, and able to work. If you can write your name, and aren't an a-hole, you can work here. I had no experience in retail prior to this, but I had 5 years experience working in a very customer service focused job as a manager so that definitely helped. If you can work till 12:00AM, and want evening shifts, a lot of stores will prioritize that over experience. Mostly because finding people to close regularly is a pain.
