The interview with the Manager and the Architect went well; we connected over the project mission, the technical aspects and I thought I was a good candidate. As the last stage of the interview process, I met with the head of R&D for a 20min call. This was a zoom call with an individual from another country. Something went very wrong during this interview, and I can’t tell what it was. He never smiled, he never even attempted to make me comfortable during the brief discussion. He acted as if he didn’t want to be there and as if the conversation didn’t matter for the outcome. Needless to say, I was not selected for the role, which was a disappointment. Despite my attempts to get any feedback, my emails were not answered which does not look well for the company.
