Met with Sales Manager (hiring manager) and Director of Architectural Sales on phone / Teams. Interview was solid, really enjoyed trying to understand the position and hear what they needed - and at the same time seeing how my experience could be helpful. It was disappointing to not get an offer. The job stayed open for years. So I do not believe they were actually serious about hiring for this role at that time.
