Quite a lengthy process with 5 stages in total. First stage was a 30 minute informal chat with the director of the department. I then was invited to the second and third stages which came back to back with SMEs who actually do the job and managers, this was a more formal chat with competency questions. Forth stage was a longer competency based chat with the director of the department finished off with the fifth stage which was going into the offices to meet with the head of operations who spent 30 minutes chatting informally with me.
